About the Role

As a Casual Registered Nurse, you will play an essential role in delivering safe, high-quality patient care across a dynamic acute hospital environment. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will utilise your clinical expertise, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate patient care that achieves positive outcomes.

This role offers variety, flexibility and the opportunity to work across different clinical areas while contributing to a patient-centred culture of excellence. Casual team members participate in a seven-day rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and night shifts, providing vital support to ensure exceptional care is delivered around the clock.

About You

You are a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. You bring demonstrated experience within an acute hospital setting and are confident applying your clinical knowledge and judgement to deliver safe, effective patient care.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with patients, families and colleagues, and are comfortable using information technology to support clinical practice. A collaborative team player, you enjoy working within multidisciplinary teams and have a proven ability to coordinate care, solve clinical challenges and respond to changing patient needs. Most importantly, you are committed to providing high-quality, outcome-focused care and contributing positively to the patient experience.

What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
