About the Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join the Cardiology Outpatient Clinic team.
In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to people living with a range of cardiac conditions. Working collaboratively with cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate care, provide patient education, support clinical assessments, and contribute to positive health outcomes across the patient journey.
You will play an important role in supporting patients adopt healthier lifestyles, monitoring patient progress, facilitating education & referrals, , and empowering patients to better manage their heart health.
As the Registered Nurse, you will:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient-centred care for people living with cardiac conditions.
- Clinical assessments, monitoring and management of patients attending the Cardiology Clinics.
- Interpret 24 hour cardiac monitoring and interrogate permanent pacemakers.
- Recognise and respond to changes in a patient's condition and escalate care appropriately.
- Provide education and support to patients and carers to promote informed decision-making and self-management.
- Coordinate referrals, follow-up care and safe transitions between services.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated clinical assessment, care planning and patient education skills.
- Coronary Care / Cardiac Nursing / Outpatient experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on patient-centred care.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
- Australian Working Rights Required and No Visa Sponsorship available.
