HealthOne Quirindi is an integrated primary and community health service, combining General Practice, Community Health, and visiting services to deliver coordinated, client-centred care. Our team works collaboratively to support health risk identification, illness prevention, early intervention, and chronic or complex disease management. Here, every member of the community receives high-quality, multidisciplinary care, and every team member is valued for their contribution.

About the role

In this role, you will conduct audiometry clinics one day per fortnight, with a focus on children and young people. You’ll provide high-quality clinical assessments, develop client-centred management plans, and deliver interventions to ensure optimal health outcomes for clients, their families, and carers.

You will receive comprehensive support and development, including a thorough on-site orientation, access to all necessary equipment, connection to the Nurse Audiometrist network, and professional development opportunities such as the annual network day. This ensures you can work confidently and autonomously while growing your skills and expertise in nurse audiometry.

About you

You are a dedicated and professional Registered Nurse with the skills and experience to conduct audiometry assessments and develop appropriate management plans. You thrive on building meaningful connections, advocating for clients, and working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

You bring:

  • Post graduate qualifications and relevant experience in Nurse Audiometry or currently enrolled / working towards completion in approved Nurse Audiometry qualification. If undertaking Nurse Audiometry qualification, permanent appointment to the position will be dependent on successful completion within an agreed timeframe.

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

  • Skills and experience relevant to a rural nurse audiometry caseload.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, families, and carers.

  • A compassionate, collaborative approach, valuing teamwork and shared learning.

Community nursing or audiometry experience in rural settings is highly desirable, but ongoing support and development will be provided.
