Are you a passionate Registered Nurse with an interest in women's health and maternity care? Hawkesbury Hospital has an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses with a view to enroll and undertake the Post Graduate Diploma of Midwifery during the duration of the assignment.
Working within our Antenatal and Postnatal Ward, you will provide high-quality, woman-centred care to mothers, babies, and their families while developing your clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative maternity environment. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will gain valuable experience across maternity services and build a strong foundation for a future career in midwifery.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered Nurse).
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective Nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week.
