About the Opportunity

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  

Here within the Acute Aged Care Ward, we specialise in the care of older people with complex health care needs. You will assist in providing a safe environment for members of the community and help them regain their independence and physical function. You will work along side other Medical and Allied Health professionals to plan for long term care and assist in palliative care arrangements.

Ideal Candidate

  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values. 
  • Must have the ability to work a 7 day rotating roster.
  • All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
