What you'll be doing 
As a Registered Nurse in our Neurology Ward, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care that supports patients through complex neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely and effective care.

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care aligned with individual needs and goals

  • Respond to changes in patient condition and provide safe clinical interventions

  • Mentor, support and supervise ENs, AINs and students in practice

  • Coordinate appropriate referrals and discharge planning for seamless care continuity

  • Advocate for patients and families while managing resources effectively

Essential Requirements

  • Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)  

 

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated recent nursing experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice

  • Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care

  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means,; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.

  • Experience of RN: 2 years and above
