About the Role
 A typical day involves:

  • Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical needs
  • Collaborating closely with doctors, allied health, and fellow nurses
  • Monitoring patients with cardiac and neurological conditions
  • Administering medications, managing IV therapy, and post-stroke support
  • Participating in ward rounds and family discussions

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Strong work ethic and accountability
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
  • Compassionate, patient-focused care

 

Desirable (can be taught on the job):

  • Cardiac and stroke-specific clinical skills
  • Hospital systems and routines

You’ll be supported from day one with an individualised orientation plan, supernumerary shifts, and guidance from a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) providing bedside teaching and hands-on training. Enjoy access to ongoing education, study days, and opportunities to upskill in cardiac, stroke, and general medical care, with support to achieve your competencies and career goals.
