In 5B, we provide exceptional care for patients in an acute general medical ward. 5B is known for the kind and patient-centered care we provide. We work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach for our patients. The role is support by the NUM, team leaders, dedicated ward and after hours educators. 5B is known for its culture of openness and approachability, with a strong focus on staff wellbeing and professional development opportunities.
About You
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration, who values teamwork, communicates effectively, and is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centred care. While experience in a hospital setting is preferred, nurses at all stages of their career are encouraged to apply.
You Will Be Responsible For
Advocate for patients and empower them to make informed decisions about their care
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, person-centred care
Respond proactively to changes in patient condition and care needs
Support, mentor, and delegate appropriately to Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, and students
Uphold the highest standards of professional, ethical, and safe nursing practice
