Quirindi, known as the ‘nest in the hills,’ is nestled in the picturesque Liverpool Plains, less than an hour from Tamworth. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and vibrant sunflower fields, this welcoming community offers the perfect blend of country charm and lifestyle balance. Quirindi Health Service incorporates Quirindi Hospital, a 24/7 acute facility with emergency care, and HealthOne Quirindi, delivering GP and Community Health services on-site. Working together, these services provide coordinated, patient-centred care for the Liverpool Plains community.
About the roles
We are currently recruiting to two Registered Nurse positions:
Registered Nurse (Inpatient Unit) – Deliver safe, high-quality, and person-centred nursing care to patients across medical, surgical, aged care, and palliative streams. This role provides opportunities to broaden your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Provide high-quality, timely nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department with a wide variety of acute needs. This position is suited to nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are keen to expand their emergency nursing expertise.
Both roles involve contributing to care planning, promoting evidence-informed practice, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor Enrolled Nurses and foster a collaborative, supportive environment that values continuous improvement.
About you
- Proven ability to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care.
- Strong communication skills with patients, carers, and team members.
- Commitment to patient safety, clinical quality, and evidence-based practice.
- Willingness to mentor and support Enrolled Nurses and fellow RNs.
- Ability to contribute to open communication, problem solving, and team building.
Requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
