About the Role
  • As a Registered Nurse, you will work with a mix of ENs and AINs.
  • Generally the RN in charge is the team leader, collaborating with the team as to how the work is divided and achieved.
  • All nurses work a rotating shift roster. It is preferable for applicants to have a good foundation of nursing knowledge.
  • The scope of practice required at Boggabri is diverse combining aged care and Emergency department presentations of all types as well as acute care which can include palliative care.
  • The successful applicant needs to like and care about people. We are happy to support people as they settle into the role.
  • If required new RNs can be buddied for a short period of time, as well as rostered as a second RN as they settle in.

Where you'll be working
  • The Boggabri MPS is located in northwest NSW, 1.5 hours drive from Tamworth.
  •  Boggabri is a small town of approximately 1000 people.
  • The MPS has 16 Residential Aged Care Facility beds, 4 acute care beds and 2 emergency department beds. 
  • We are collocated with the local Dr Surgery and Ambulance Station.

  • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
