Join Our Supportive Paediatric Team in Armidale
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Paediatric Registered Nurse to join our friendly team within the Armidale Paediatric Unit.
Our 8-bed paediatric unit is supported by three permanent paediatricians and regular locum paediatricians. Working alongside the Nursing Unit Manager, Clinical Midwifery Educator, and multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, family-centred care to paediatric inpatients and ward outpatients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based paediatric nursing care
- Supporting children and families throughout their healthcare journey
- Collaborating with nursing, medical, and allied health teams
- Participating in an 8-hour rotating roster
- Contributing to a positive team environment
About You
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Paediatric Registered Nurse with recent paediatric experience. Experience in CVAD management, respiratory support (including AirVo, bubble CPAP, and oxygen therapy), and shift coordination is highly regarded.
You will bring a passion for family-centred care, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions.
