What you'll be doing
You are a currently registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, demonstrating strong clinical capability within an acute hospital setting. You bring well‑developed skills, comprehensive knowledge, and a high level of competency in delivering safe, evidence-based midwifery care. Your clinical problem-solving abilities enable you to respond effectively to complex situations, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients and their families.
You communicate with confidence and professionalism, utilising information technology alongside clear written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to support high-quality care delivery and collaboration. You excel in planning and coordinating midwifery care within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a cohesive, outcome-focused approach to patient management. You are adaptable and committed to service delivery, demonstrating willingness and capacity to participate in a seven-day rotating roster, including night duty and public holidays.
About You
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective midwifery care that reflects current standards of midwifery practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
