Position Classification: Registered Midwife
Remuneration: $41.22- $57.88 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job share may be considered for part time hours)
Location: Blacktown Hospital

What you'll be doing 
In this role, you will provide individualised, high quality midwifery care to optimise patient outcomes while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Deliver antenatal and early pregnancy care within clinic settings
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to support care plans
• Assess, plan and respond to changing clinical needs
• Coordinate care and make appropriate referrals to support patients
• Supervise and mentor staff and students in clinical practice

• Registration: Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife 

Selection Criteria

1. Previous relevant clinical experience in speciality.

2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.

3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.

4. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

5. Commitment to continuing professional development.

6. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team .
