About the Opportunity
We are seeking passionate Registered Midwives to work within a continuity of care model, delivering comprehensive support to women and families through every stage of the maternity journey.

🔹 Provide antenatal, labour, birth, and postnatal care—including in-home postnatal visits

🔹 Work across a variety of settings: Antenatal Clinics, Birthing Unit, and community-based care

🔹 Be part of a rotating roster that supports flexibility and team collaboration

This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful connections with women and their families, while working alongside experienced, compassionate colleagues in a supportive maternity environment.

 

What You'll be Doing
The midwife is a responsible and accountable professional who works in partnership with women to give the necessary support, care and advice during pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period, to conduct births on the midwife's own responsibility and to provide care for the newborn and the infant.

This position may entail rotating through various clinical areas such as, Birthing Unit, Post/Antenatal Ward, Special Care Nursery and Antenatal Clinic.

  1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Midwife in a specialised maternity care environment, ready to deliver compassionate, culturally responsive care?
  3. Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, combining evidence-based care, thoughtful decision-making, and skilled communication to empower families throughout their birthing journey?
  4. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
