- Provide high‑quality, woman‑centred care across antenatal, birthing, and postnatal settings

You are a compassionate and skilled Registered Midwife who is confident delivering high‑quality care across all stages of the maternity journey within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge across antenatal, birthing, and postnatal care
- Deliver compassionate, culturally safe, and respectful care to women and families
- Collaborate effectively with midwives, obstetricians, paediatric teams, and allied health professionals
- Adapt confidently to working across multiple maternity areas within a busy ward setting
- Contribute to continuous improvement and support evidence‑based midwifery practice
Selection Criteria

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Can you describe a time you supported a woman through multiple stages of the maternity journey (antenatal, birthing, postnatal) and how you ensured continuity and safety across transitions?
- This role rotates across different maternity areas. How do you maintain confidence and consistency when moving between birthing, antenatal, and postnatal units?
Tell us about a situation where you worked closely with midwives, obstetric staff, and allied health to manage a complex maternity case. What was your role and what was the outcome?
