What you’ll be doing: Macksville MGP is a unique regional model that was designed for and by the local community. As a midwife with this team, you’ll be able to provide and promote safe and effective multidisciplinary clinical care reflecting current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures, and across the scope of midwifery practice at both Macksville Hospital Birthing Unit and Coffs Harbour Hospital Maternity Service.

About you
You will be required to hold current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and demonstrates strong skills, knowledge, and competence in providing midwifery care within a continuity of care model. Proven clinical problem-solving abilities are essential to optimise midwifery outcomes. Effective communication skills-written, verbal, interpersonal, and digital as you are required to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. The role demands flexibility to participate in rotating rosters, including on-call duties, supporting the needs of the Midwifery Group Practice. A current driver’s licence is necessary.
