What you will bring to the role:
- Current registration with AHPRA Registered Midwife (division 1)
- Recent clinical experience and expertise in acute antenatal care environments, including initiating and coordinating appropriate action during obstetric emergencies.
- Demonstrated ability to practice in accordance with the Registered Midwife National Competency Standards, Code of Ethics for Midwives, and Code of Professional Conduct for Midwives (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia).
- Demonstrated understanding of woman centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated High level of written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated computer literacy with eMR and eMaternity systems
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday day shift hours.
