About the Opportunity
Fairfield Hospital is inviting passionate and caring Registered Midwives to join our casual pool within the Maternity Services team.
In this rewarding role, you will deliver holistic, woman-centred care across all stages of pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period. You’ll work in close partnership with obstetricians, paediatricians, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure women and their families receive the highest quality care and support during this significant time in their lives.

What You'll be Doing
The midwife is a responsible and accountable professional who works in partnership with women to give the necessary support, care and advice during pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period, to conduct births on the midwife's own responsibility and to provide care for the newborn and the infant.
This position may entail rotating through various clinical areas such as, Birthing Unit, Post/Antenatal Ward, Special Care Nursery and Antenatal Clinic.
