Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
Hawkesbury District Hospital is seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Midwives to join our Midwifery Casual Pool. In this role, you will provide safe, compassionate and woman-centred care, working collaboratively with women, babies, families and multidisciplinary teams across the maternity journey.
This offers opportunities to work across various areas of Hawkesbury Maternity Services, including the Birth Unit, Antenatal and Postnatal Ward, Antenatal Clinics and Midwifery in the Home. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for women and their families.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife Division 1 with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Midwifery.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing/midwifery care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
