About the role: Administration Officer (AO2)
Step into a dynamic role as Administration Officer (AO2) in Tamworth, where you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and colleagues, providing seamless reception services and vital administrative support across the New England Northwest Mental Health Service. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact behind the scenes, ensuring the smooth running of a busy mental health service.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Welcome visitors, manage incoming calls, and coordinate referrals with professionalism and care.
- Support staff and management with general administrative tasks and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Manage appointments, correspondence, and medical documentation with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Assist with operational functions such as duress testing, resource management, and ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with the broader NENW Administration Team to ensure the service runs smoothly and effectively.
The successful candidate will be supported by the NENW MHS Administration Team Leader, the wider NENW leadership team, and the Service Manager. You will have opportunities to connect with and draw on the expertise of the broader HNE MHS Administration Team Lead, while benefiting from strong links with the wider HNE MHS professional networks, ensuring access to guidance, peer support, and shared resources across the district.
