What you'll be doing 
As a Level 3 Grade 3 Radiographer, you will provide advanced clinical expertise in mammography, ensuring safe, accurate, high-quality imaging aligned with BCI, BreastScreen NSW and national standards. You will lead clinical education, support workforce development and uphold best practice across screening and assessment clinics. Key responsibilities will be to:

  • Deliver high-quality mammography for screening and assessment clients

  • Supervise and mentor MRS students, graduates and junior radiographers

  • Support clinical education, competency assessments and training programs

  • Maintain quality assurance standards through routine QA testing and equipment oversight

  • Contribute to clinical audits, research and service improvement initiatives

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualification: Radiography

  • Registration in line with Award requirements: AHPRA 

  • License: EPA 

 

Selection Criteria:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and postgraduate qualifications, such as, Breast ultrasound or Certificate in Mammography Practice.

  2. Demonstrated experience in mammography and/or breast ultrasound and in providing high quality breast Imaging services that are patient/client focused according to the objectives and policies of the BCI.

  3. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  4. High level customer service skills, and effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with patients/clients.

  5. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative to ensure efficient daily department workflow.

  6. Demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues, problem solving, formulating new approaches and implementing comprehensive change programs and improvement strategies, including the ability to develop and monitor outcomes.

  7. High working knowledge of mammography equipment and knowledge of BreastScreen Australia Program and the National Accreditation Standards.

  8. Excellent and detailed working knowledge of RIS PACS in both Diagnostic and Screening Breast Imaging Programs and managing of any PACS data related issues.
