About the Team
You’ll be part of a highly skilled and collaborative Medical Imaging team, including:
7 dedicated Ultrasound staff
A broader unit of 23 Radiographers and multidisciplinary professionals
The team is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred imaging services, with a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
As a Radiographer Level 3 Grade 3 (Sonographer), you will provide advanced ultrasound and medical imaging services across a range of clinical settings.
In this role, you will:
Deliver high-quality ultrasound services across abdominal, pelvic, small parts, obstetric, vascular and paediatric imaging
Provide clinical advice and imaging expertise to support patient care and clinical decision-making
Produce accurate and timely reports to assist Radiologists
Work across multiple modalities within a 7-day rotating roster, including on-call
Travel to satellite sites to support service delivery across the region (as required)
Supervise and support students, trainees and developing practitioners
Contribute to continuous improvement and service innovation initiatives
You will play a key role in ensuring imaging services are delivered in line with evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and patient safety standards.
About You
You are a motivated and experienced imaging professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
You will bring:
Demonstrated experience in ultrasound across a broad range of examinations, including paediatric imaging
Strong ability to engage with patients and deliver compassionate, patient-centred care
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Sound clinical judgement with the ability to analyse complex situations and problem-solve effectively
Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands
Commitment to professional, ethical, and culturally respectful practice
Essential Requirements
Appropriate qualifications and registration as a Radiographer/Sonographer
Demonstrated clinical experience in ultrasound imaging
Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required
Ability to participate in a 7-day rotating roster including on-call
