Where you'll be working:
Our Imaging Department at Manning Hospital are seeking a qualified Radiographer to join our friendly and enthusiastic team in a new, purpose-built and expanded radiology department. This is an excellent opportunity to join our dedicated team and provide patient-centred imaging services across of range of clinical areas to patients and carers of the Manning region, whilst ensuring optimal health outcomes for patients of the service.

Taree is a historic town on the banks of the beautiful Manning River, located only a 2-hour drive from Newcastle in NSW. At the vibrant centre of the Manning Valley, Taree is a great base for exploring the national parks and beautiful beaches of the Barrington Coast. As the major service town for the Manning Valley region, Taree has the facilities, services, and attractions you are used to in the city, with the added bonus of being within reach of the area’s natural bounty.

About you:
You are patient-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team. Your excellent organisational skills, coupled with your ability to manage a varied workload, will see you perform a range of examinations to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent.
  • Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), hold current NSW EPA Radiation licence.
