Come and join our wonderful award-winning Governance Support Unit team. This Quality Manager role forms an integral part of the team focused on overseeing and leading quality improvement processes as well as accreditation, research and clinical trials, clinical and corporate governance and incident management.
Employment Type: Full Time Temporary until 6 December 2026 (with the possibility of ongoing employment)

Remuneration: $2436.82 - $ 2768.26 per week

What you'll be doing
The Governance Support Unit (GSU) provides strategic and operational implementation of portfolio responsibilities and has reporting requirements through the NSLHD MHDA Directorate.
The Quality Manager has a pivotal role in overseeing and leading quality processes including accreditation, improvement, research, education, consumer safety, and policies and procedures. The Quality Manager provides support to clinical services and has specific portfolio responsibilities.
The Quality Manager works in collaboration with relevant staff to implement an integrated quality and safety program across the District.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in health, risk or quality or a related field, working towards the same or significant experience in these areas.
- Experience as a clinician in medical, nursing, psychology, social work, occupational therapy or similar health related field.
- Demonstrated experience in service planning and policy / procedure / guideline development, implementation and evaluation in line with State and Commonwealth legislative requirements.
