St Vincent's Hospital Sydney is looking for a motivated medical officer to ensure provision of Computerised Tomographic Coronary Angiograms (CTCAs) and Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) studies of high quality and the proper conduct of clinical research in CTCA and Cardiac MRI.

What you'll be doing
Close and effective liaison with consultants will allow the doctor to demonstrate their level of ability and understanding of advanced cardiac imaging techniques. All patients managed within the hospitals of the health service are under the direct care of a specialist medical practitioner. All decisions regarding their care are to be clearly communicated with the specialist responsible for that care.

Work as part of, and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team.
Deal with matters of an urgent or sensitive nature.
Must have the ability to exercise discretion, sensitivity and maintain confidentiality.
Works co-operatively within a team environment and actively contributes to team activities including proactively participates in team meetings and decision making processes.
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Successful completion of Part 1 FRACP Examinations.
- Successful completion of at least two but preferably three years of the Cardiology Advanced Training Program.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise
- Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem solving skills as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of commitment to clinical research and preferably, evidence of previous research experience and research skills.
- Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the philosophies, mission and values of the Mary Aikenhead Ministries.
