What you'll be doing
To provide effective medical services to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in Endocrinology
practice, in a complex clinical environment. The position is a 12 month post, aimed at detecting and treating
patients who have pituitary disease and other general endocrine conditions
  1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
  2. Advanced ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, including the sharing of appropriate information internally and externally with key persons or services.
  3. Advanced ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise.
  4. Advanced ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise with excellent written and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with other health professionals.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
  6. Ongoing commitment to further education and professional development and demonstrated ability to teach, and willingness to participate in the teaching of Medical Students, Junior Medical Staff and other clinical staff.
  7. Understanding of research methodology or research experience and a willingness to undertake research proposal.
  8. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Mission and Values of the Mary Aikenhead Ministries
