What you'll be doing
To provide and support the development of Orthopaedic Surgery services to patients of Port Macquarie Base Hospital, in support of the Clinical Services Plan for the Clinical Network
  1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category
  2. Have a Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (or able to obtain) and/or other specialist recognition as provided for under the health Insurance Act 1973
  3. Willingness and ability to participate in an on-call roster
  4. Demonstrated commitment to teaching and continuing education
  5. Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team and provide leadership of a team
  6. Knowledge and evidence of applying quality improvement in the clinical environment
