- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Minimum 4 years of clinical anaesthesia experience in an accredited training position recognised by the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA).
- Completed advanced training, preferably passed ANZCA final examinations.
- Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, judgement, communication and expertise.
- Demonstrated teamwork within a multidisciplinary team, time management and problem solving skills in a complex clinical environment.
- Commitment to an area of subspecialty or interest area throughout the year.
- Interest in departmental development through teaching and/or research.
