Hunter New England Health is seeking an experienced ICT Project Portfolio Coordinator to play a critical role in delivering our Digital Strategy. This is a key role in defining and contributing to varied and innovative projects that enhance healthcare services across the region, making a real difference to the community within a large public sector organisation.

About the position:
As a key member of the ICT Governance Team, you will:

✔️ Support the planning, monitoring, and coordination of a diverse portfolio of ICT projects.
✔️ Oversee and identify requirements for supporting project compliance the production, collation, and storage of critical reporting and governance artefacts.
✔️ Facilitate stakeholder communication and change management initiatives.
✔️ Maintain compliance with project management frameworks and provide coaching on best practices.
✔️ Oversee risk and issue tracking, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies.
✔️ Support the use of ServiceNow’s Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) system, including dashboard creation, training, and process improvements.

You are an experienced and confident ICT project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With a strong commitment to project governance and compliance, you ensure all activities align with Project Management Frameworks and LHD principles while delivering forward-thinking solutions.

🔹 Technical & Organisational Skills – Proficient in Project Management tools, you ensure compliance with frameworks, maintain meticulous documentation, and drive efficiency.

🔹 Collaboration & Coaching – You work seamlessly with Project Managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders, offering guidance and support to enhance project outcomes.

With strong organisational skills, excellent time management, and attention to detail, you help support the delivery of impactful digital projects that shape the future of healthcare.
