Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer (HSM2) to support quality improvement and accreditation for international Centre of Excellence status in cancer. This is a temporary full-time 12-month position.

Royal North Shore Hospital in the Northern Sydney Cancer Centre

What you'll be doing
To coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of projects.



People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.


Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. A demonstrated interest in and understanding of project management, with a relevant degree in a health management discipline; demonstrated equivalent experience; or a combination of work and study.
  2. Excellent written, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills across a variety of levels and settings within the healthcare system. Ability to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Experience with complex task planning, ability to ensure coordination of diverse inputs and achievements of key project deliverables using project management methodology.
  4. Sound computer and data skills including word processing, data management, data analysis and interpretation. Experience working with clinical applications in a health setting.
