An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the delivery of a NSW Health-funded Translational Research Grants Scheme (TRGS) project aimed at transforming pressure injury monitoring within Intensive Care Units (ICUs) across New South Wales.
Based at Nepean Hospital, this role will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the development and implementation of an innovative artificial intelligence-enabled pressure injury surveillance system across six participating ICUs. Working at the intersection of clinical care, research, informatics, and quality improvement, you will play a key role in translating cutting-edge research into sustainable clinical practice that enhances patient safety and outcomes.

What you will bring to the role
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant health discipline with demonstrated experience in a senior management or strategic leadership role within a complex environment.
- Authoritative knowledge of contemporary issues, strategic directions, and systemic challenges facing NSW intensive care services.
- Proven leadership capability in leading and driving organisational change and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Advanced understanding of how clinical information systems are used in the ICU, including the types of information recorded, how pressure injury reporting is performed in the ICU and the identification of opportunities for artificial intelligence integration to drive evidence-based service improvements.
- Demonstrated advanced communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to partner with senior clinicians and executives to gain buy-in for complex change and service improvement initiatives.
- Extensive experience in project management and the implementation of large-scale projects and frameworks including the provision of high level advice, with the ability and willingness to travel and co-locate as required.
- Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex information rapidly to accurately facilitate solution design, evaluate project effectiveness and produce reports.
- Demonstrated experience in leading the development and implementation of clinical practice guidelines and research protocols across clinical environments or similar
