Where you'll be working

Population and Community Health (PaCH) is part of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
 
PaCH provides community health services that give care to individuals, families and carers, as well as population health services that focus on the whole community or key groups within the community.
 
PaCH's services are provided at the District's hospitals, community-based facilities including child and family health centres, community health centres and specialist clinics. We work with other service providers across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, including hospitals and mental health services.

What you'll be doing

The vision for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is ‘exceptional care, healthier lives’. SESLHD is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well, and to providing the best possible compassionate care when people need it. 
 
SESLHD Drug and Alcohol Service offers a range of treatment and support services for people with problems from their alcohol, prescription or illicit drug use, and/or their families and carers. Outpatient D&A services are located in clinics at the Langton Centre in Surry Hills, St George Hospital in Kogarah, and Caringbah Community Health Centre at Sutherland Hospital. Inpatient D&A services are provided at Sydney Hospital, Prince of Wales, St. George and Sutherland Hospitals. Our goal is to improve health, wellbeing and social outcomes for individuals, families and the community, related to drug and alcohol use.
 
The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing high level project and administrative support to projects being carried out within Drug and Alcohol Services. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for establishing, utilising and continuously improving frameworks and processes, along with project documentation and secretariat duties for steering committees and other ad hoc and regular meetings. Please note that the role has a District remit and as such may be located at any location across the district.

Selection Criteria
  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management or demonstrated equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.
  2. Demonstrated high-level computer skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including TEAMS and Project Management software.
  3. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with key stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare a variety of documents such as briefs, project updates and evaluation reports.
  5. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt work practices to meet current and emerging business needs
  6. Demonstrated effective time management skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines.
