About the Opportunity

As a Principal Technical Business Analyst of our Clinical Technology Integration team within SDPRIA, you will lead the analysis and translation of complex clinical and technical requirements into actionable specifications that support strategic health initiatives across NSW.

 

This role offers the opportunity to lead critical integration work across medical devices, clinical systems and software within the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) program. You will contribute to data-driven health outcomes by shaping how technology supports clinicians and patients, working with tools such as process mapping, functional documentation, and integration platforms. Some travel may be required to engage with Local Health Districts (LHDs) and stakeholders across the system.



In this role, you will:

    • Lead the collection and documentation of complex business and clinical requirements aligned to NSW Health priorities
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and enhance the integration of clinical systems, devices and software
    • Mentor and guide a team of analysts to ensure consistency and quality in all technical deliverables
    • Facilitate workshops and working groups to drive solution design and alignment with strategic objectives
    • Proactively manage risks and issues across multiple projects and ensure timely reporting to the Clinical Technology Integration Manager.
     

    About You

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Has extensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst in medical device integration, biomedical devices, or clinical systems environment
    • Brings strong technical knowledge of medical devices, software systems and clinical integration
    • Has proven ability to translate business and clinical needs into technical documentation, including user stories, As-Is/To-Be processes and test cases.
