About the role

Are you an experienced healthcare leader passionate about improving health outcomes for rural and regional communities?

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Primary & Community Health Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality, multidisciplinary primary and community health services. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring services are client-centred, culturally safe, evidence-based, and aligned with local community needs and strategic health priorities.

As the Primary & Community Health Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams across community-based health services.
  • Drive service planning, workforce development, and change management initiatives aligned with local, state, and national health priorities.
  • Monitor service performance and utilise data to support quality improvement, resource management, and informed decision-making.
  • Oversee financial, human, and physical resources to ensure efficient and sustainable service delivery.
  • Provide clinical leadership and promote contemporary models of care that improve patient and community outcomes.
  • Ensure strong governance, quality, safety, risk management, and compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that achieve key performance indicators and service objectives.

NSW Health workers may be required to use respiratory protective equipment as part of their duties, including fit testing and compliance with safe-use requirements.
