This is an outstanding opportunity for Emergency Medicine trainees nearing Fellowship, newly qualified FACEMs, or experienced emergency clinicians seeking to broaden their expertise within a high-acuity tertiary environment.
 

Who Should Apply?
Post Graduate Fellow Applicants
Doctors who:
• Hold FACEM; or
• Are eligible for FACEM within six months; or
• Applicants who are approaching Fellowship but have not yet attained FACEM may also be considered for a Provisional Fellow or Senior Registrar appointment. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to transition to a Post Graduate Fellow position upon achieving Fellowship and meeting the relevant employment requirements.

The Role
Post Graduate Fellows in Emergency Medicine provide high-quality patient-centred care across the full spectrum of emergency presentations while further developing the skills required to independently supervise a busy Emergency Department and practise as a specialist Emergency Physician.
 

You will:
• Manage undifferentiated presentations across all age groups
• Undertake advanced resuscitation, trauma and emergency procedures
• Work closely with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team
• Participate in teaching, research and quality improvement activities
• Develop leadership and supervision capabilities in a tertiary Emergency Department environment
• Receive ongoing support and mentorship from experienced FACEM clinicians
