- Qualifications in a related field of science with subjects relevant to Pathology and/or extensive work related experience.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment with the ability to maintain high quality work output while managing competing priorities.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills combined with the ability to investigate and resolve general issues within the laboratory environment.
- High level interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate with key stakeholders at all levels, preferably in a laboratory environment.
- Experience and/or understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles.
- Demonstrated high level of PC skills, including being able to use programs like word processing and spread sheets and/or a laboratory information system.
- Current unencumbered NSW (Class C) drivers licence and the ability / willingness to work across various locations / sites as required.
