About the role
Are you a passionate Physiotherapist looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of people living with chronic pain? Join the Tamworth Integrated Pain Service (TIPS), a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping people improve function, build confidence and achieve better quality of life through evidence-based, person-centred care.
As a key member of TIPS, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services through both individual consultations and group-based programs. Working closely with medical, nursing, psychology and allied health colleagues, you will contribute to comprehensive assessment, treatment planning and ongoing management for people experiencing persistent pain.
The Tamworth Integrated Pain Service offers a range of specialised services, with the Physiotherapist playing an integral role in delivering and supporting:
- Education and advice for people living with chronic pain
- Medical reviews
- Multidisciplinary team assessments
- Multidisciplinary case conferencing
- Chronic pain group programs, including information seminars, assessment workshops and active treatment programs
- Individual treatment planning and appointments alongside Psychology
- Support and advice for General Practitioners managing chronic pain in primary care

You are an enthusiastic and compassionate Physiotherapist with a strong interest in chronic pain management and a commitment to delivering person-centred care. You thrive in multidisciplinary environments and value building strong therapeutic relationships that empower people to actively participate in their health journey.
You bring excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills, a collaborative approach to care, and the ability to work confidently with individuals experiencing complex and persistent pain conditions. You are committed to continuous learning, evidence-based practice and delivering culturally safe, inclusive care.

Requirements:
- Physiotherapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
- Current unencumbered driver’s licence.

Additional Information:
* Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. If your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive. Please note: the increased RHWIS allowance is approved until 30th June 2026. Commencement after this date may be subject to change, including the allowance amount for which the candidate may be eligible.
