Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.

  

The Physiotherapist Level 3 provide senior clinical leadership within Physiotherapy service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff.

  

Level 3 Senior Clinicians have a recognised clinical specialty within their discipline and work in areas that require high levels of clinical expertise and knowledge in that specialty. They demonstrate advanced reasoning skills and operate autonomously with minimum direct clinical supervision.

Ideal Candidate

  • Current AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration and degree, or equivalent, in Physiotherapy, ensuring eligibility for full membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association with experience at Level 2 or higher.

  • Has advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Physiotherapy.

  • Able to independently problem solve, apply professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as per of a multidisciplinary team.
