About the role:
Take the lead in this senior weekend role and bring your physiotherapy expertise to the forefront. Working Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am to 4:30pm, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy care, championing the best outcomes for your patients.
You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, liaising across departments and sites to ensure seamless, continuous care. This role offers the perfect balance for an experienced physiotherapist who enjoys autonomy but also thrives within a supportive team.
You’ll have access to guidance from a Level 4 clinician, regular clinical supervision, and professional development opportunities through John Hunter Hospital, ensuring your ongoing growth and confidence in managing complex cases.
About you:
We’re looking for a physiotherapist with:
Strong clinical experience in critical care and managing acutely unwell patients
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Confidence in independent practice and decision-making within a dynamic hospital setting
A passion for delivering safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care

- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies.
