About the role
- Lead the delivery of high-quality clinical trial pharmacy services within the Investigational Drugs Service across a range of medical specialties
- Provide operational and clinical leadership to pharmacists and technicians, ensuring safe and efficient trial support
- Support cutting-edge research including early-phase Oncology, Haematology, and immune effector cell therapy trials
- Work closely with the Deputy Director of Pharmacy to coordinate service delivery across the St Vincent's Research Precinct
- Contribute to the strategic direction and performance of the Pharmacy Department as part of the SVHS leadership team
About you
- Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no conditions on scope of practice and post registration clinical or management/leadership qualifications or equivalent skills/experience,
- Availability for on-call and weekend work as per roster requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in oncology/haematology pharmacy, including complex cancer care and bone marrow transplantation
- Strong understanding of clinical trials and regulatory frameworks governing investigational drugs in Australia and internationally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to produce clinical, educational, and research documentation
- Skilled in managing complex workloads, leading service improvements, and committed to ongoing professional development aligned with the values of St Vincent's Health Australia
