About the Role
Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring. 

 

This is a dynamic management position responsible for the development, oversight and implementation of service improvement projects across the Sydney Local Health District (SLHD). The position will manage various service improvement projects aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency and performance, effectiveness and quality of services and functions within facilities across the SLHD.

 

The Performance and Redesign Program Manager will lead and support staff and key stakeholders in applying new and innovative ideas that produce better outcomes for patients, staff and the SLHD. The position will also promote and support change management skill development across SLHD.

Ideal Candidate

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in management, project management, health services management/health administration or related discipline or equivalent.
  • High level written and verbal communication, interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workflow with established leadership, coaching, mentoring and training skills to support a range of initiatives.
  • A proven ability to lead and influence teams or networks to develop and achieve common goals which lead to improved patient health outcomes and experience.
  • Demonstrated extensive skills and experience in project management and change management with ability to establish strong strategic networks over a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
