About the opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated Patient Transport Officers to contribute to the safe transfer of patients in a variety of situations in the Central Coast - Somersby area.
You’ll be responsible for providing safe and timely transport of patients and contribute to the delivery of quality care and excellence in customer service within a cost effective and efficient environment.
Applicants must hold a current NSW unrestricted Manual Light Rigid Driver's Licence and must not have incurred more than six demerit points in the last three years or had their licence suspended or cancelled in the last two years. A driving record will be requested during the recruitment process.
Preferred candidates are required to be successfully fit tested to an approved respirator prior to gaining employment with Patient Transport Services. The testing will be arranged and booked through Patient Transport Services during the recruitment process. Successful candidates must maintain a cleanly shaven face to obtain an adequate seal to the approved fit tested respiratory throughout their employment.
All new staff are required to attend a mandatory Full Time (2 Week) induction course including part-time and casual workers. You must attend the full two weeks (Monday through to Friday) as part of the standard offer of employment obligations. If you are unable to commit to the full two weeks, your application will not progress to the next stage.

- I hold a current senior first aid certificate and have uploaded my certificate as part of the application process.

- This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 12) for a complete list of required vaccines.
