Targeted Questions

  1. Possession of a current senior first aid certificate.
  2. Possess an unrestricted NSW Manual Light Rigid Driver Licence prior to commencing employment and, without incurring more than six demerit points in the last three years or a licence suspension/cancellation in the last two years.
  3. Outline your experience conducting manual handling skills (i.e., loading/unloading, and manoeuvring patients around, on/off stretchers and in/out of wheelchairs).
  4. Provide an example of a time you demonstrated well-developed basic literacy skills including reading and writing skills and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills to a stakeholder.
  5. Ability to work a flexible roster including public holidays, early morning commencement and late evening completion time and a reasonable amount of overtime.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliance

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the COVID-19 vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate.
