What you'll be doing

The Manager oversees a clinical governance framework for the health service, prompting an integrated approach with improved health care service delivery and an environment of accountability for clinical quality.
This position provides leadership and a strategic framework for the development of health service wide quality activity. The quality strategy will provide the NSLHD with assurance on standards of clinical and non-clinical service.

The Manager oversees within the context of the Vision and Values of RNSH, the quality and safety program and the operationalisation of the program in which all services and staff participate.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience in clinical quality, safety and improvement activities and training.
  2. Demonstrated innovative approach to the management of clinical and non-clinical organisational wide quality and safety programs within organisational and public health sector contexts.
  3. Demonstrated experience in inspiring key stakeholders of all levels and though a collaborative and influencing approach leading organizational change.
  4. Demonstrated excellent time management skills and ability to work in an environment with competing and challenging priorities and time frames.
