About the Role
Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
- Relevant experience in a revenue, finance or similar position in a hospital setting, with demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and customer service experience including a high level advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal sensitively and professionally with patients, their families, other staff and stakeholders involved in the financial case management process.
Understanding of Medicare and Private Health Insurance arrangements within the Australian Health Care System.
Ability to critically analyse information and data, provide solution based feedback and clear concise reports for management.
- Ability to work a 7 day rotating shift across the hours of operation, including public holidays.
