What you'll be doing
Our Patient Liaison Admissions team plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care and offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development and growth as a part of the emergency department.
Casual position working across a 24-hour rotating roster, Monday to Sunday.
As a Patient Liaison Admissions Officer (PLAO), you will work closely with patients, clinical teams, Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs), and administrative staff to ensure efficient and accurate patient administration services.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Experience or knowledge of patient admission processes, financial classifications and a knowledge or exposure to private health insurance in Public Hospitals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including confidence in the spoken word and the ability to deal confidently courteously with people at all levels.
- Experience and exposure to the workings of the NSW Public Hospital system.
