About the Role
The Patient Flow Manager is an integral part of the leadership team and is responsible for managing patient access, patient flow and bed management in business hours.

The Patient Flow Manager is part of the management team supporting clinical staffing, planning, delivery & evaluation of integrated clinical care; ensuring clinical care for the patients in the service is safe, well managed, and of the highest quality and linking effectively to the afterhours management team to ensure care provided is continuous.


This includes the management of patient access, care co-ordination and monitoring associated KPI targets. The position is also responsible for a broad range of Nursing and Midwifery matters as well as being involved in ensuring appropriate emergency responses in business hours.


About You
Do you hold a current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and have extensive operational management knowledge and skills in a relevant setting that demonstrates an ability to effectively coordinate service activities. Do you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with all levels of staff, patients and external agencies and the ability to positively influence organisational change?
