About the opportunity
NSW Health Pathology is seeking a Product Manager to lead the statewide rollout of PathWorks - our mobile clinician application and digital ordering platform - delivering seamless results integration to practice management software (including HealthLink) for GPs and specialists.
In this role, you will work closely with our clinicians and executives to shape the product strategy, roadmap and backlog, and coordinate delivery across clinical, ICT and program teams. You’ll champion features that matter to clinicians and patients - secure access to results, critical result notifications, guided test ordering via our service catalogue, collaboration with pathologists, add‑on orders, and in‑app support and surveys. You'll be charged with engaging with users to drive adoption, improve care and maximise the product's value to the healthcare system.

What you'll be doing
The Agile Program Manager, Statewide Quality Management Information System (QMIS):
- Leads and manages the planning, development, and implementation of QMIS, providing leadership, management, coordination and direction to teams associated with the program.
- Ensures program business objectives are developed with a plan to be achieved in time and within budget, and liaises closely with all stakeholders to plan, prioritise, and resource the program.
- Responsible for prioritising workflows, maintaining standards, and complying with strategic goals to ensure the development, implementation, supervision and administration of systems and procedures necessary for effective program management

- Relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in project management and/or extensive proven experience at a senior level as a project manager.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing projects from conceptualisation through delivery, with substantial experience in personnel management projects and the ability to coordinate activities of multidisciplinary groups
- Superior executive-level analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to analyse information and develop insightful solutions, proactively identify, and manage issues, understand organisation and user requirements to formulate and implement strategic and operational plans through the delivery and commissioning phase of projects, all within a complex service delivery environment
- Ability to indirectly / directly influence and lead cross-functional teams, including a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally at all organisational levels, improve customer experience, elevate performance, value-add, and improve business continuity.
- Outstanding communication, engagement, negotiation, collaboration and influencing skills with all levels of government, staff, management, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders in achieving effective outcomes
