Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) is seeking a motivated Painter and Decorator to assist in maintaining the appearance and presentation of healthcare facilities.

What you'll be doing
The incumbent will perform tasks within his or her skill competence, training related to preventative and corrective maintenance and installation, renovation and construction of buildings, plant and equipment or the maintenance and upkeep of hospital grounds This includes the performance of peripheral and incidental tasks and assisting other staff so as to complete the whole job.
The incumbent will employ standardised policies, work practices, services and standards in undertaking the work and will comply with any legal or organisational requirements that may apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Relevant Painting & Decorating Trade Certificate or equivalent and has completed 360 hours of approved TAFE courses or others deemed equivalent by the employer.
