About the role:
As a Paediatric Registered Nurse based on Ward H1 at John Hunter Children’s Hospital, you will provide compassionate, family-centred care to children throughout their acute hospital admission as part of our dynamic acute services team. Working within a rotating shift roster, you will play a vital role in supporting young patients and their families during some of their most challenging moments.
You will be welcomed with a comprehensive orientation program and supported every step of the way by experienced managers, educators, and local nursing mentors. Targeted training will be provided to bridge any knowledge gaps, and ongoing professional development is strongly encouraged to help you grow and thrive in your career.
Ward H1 is a vibrant 24-bed Paediatric Medical Ward with a bustling, friendly atmosphere, offering a broad mix of specialty services including respiratory, neurology, endocrinology, dermatology, and general medicine - ensuring a varied and enriching clinical experience every day.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
